Responsibilities
Tasks
· Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
· Calculate the cost of truck repairs and new parts if needed
· Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
· Address customers’ complaints or concerns
· Coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques
· Mountain driving expertise

· Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations
· Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
· Drive lighter, special purpose trucks
· Load and unload goods
· Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes

· Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
