Qualifications:
– Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English is required;
– Completion of secondary (high) school is required;
– 2 years to less than 3 years of work experience as a cook is required.
Job duties:
– Prepare and cook stock, soup and sauce for ramen dishes;
– Boil ramen noodles;
– Make and present ramen dishes;
– Prepare and make toppings for ramen dishes such as Chashu (slow cooked pork/chicken) and marinated egg;
– Prepare and present side dishes such as Takoyaki, Chicken Karaage, Vege Spring Roll and Gyoza;
– Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances when requested;
– Train and instruct kitchen staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food, stock and soup if necessary;
– Maintain inventory and records of ingredients, food, supplies and equipment, and place orders as necessary;
– Clean, organize and inspect kitchen and work areas;
– Suggest and plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies.
