EMPIRE FRAMING INC., SUNNY SIDE MB is looking for 3 positions of Framer Helper – construction – on a permanent and full-time basis.
Positions: 3
Salary: CAD 17.50/Hr /30to 40 hours per week
The main job duties and responsibilities:
· Load and unload construction materials and move materials to work areas.
· Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ladders etc. required at construction sites.
· Assists Carpenter’s in construction activities.
· Assist Tradesperson in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs
· Assist in aligning wooden structures, mouldings and perform related activities.
· Level surface to fine grade specifications.
· Assist in demolishing wooden structures using prying bars and other tools and sort the surface area.
· Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
· Clean up and finish the wooden joints using sandpaper.
· Perform other activities at construction sites, as direct
Education
No degree, certificate, or diploma
Language
Basics English language; oral Punjabi and Hindi language is assets but not mandatory.
Experience
Experience an asset
Working Conditions
Candidate should be able to lift weight (50lbs). Should be willing to work outdoors, indoors, rain, or shine.
