Académie de la Capitale (Acadecap International School) is a bilingual IB ® World School located in Central West Ottawa. We offer an international education based on the Primary Years Programme. Our Pre-Secondary and Secondary School Programmes promote in-depth study of the Ontario curriculum by means of the AC 21st Century Learning Curriculum©.

Académie de la Capitale is looking for French and FSL Teacher’s Assistant, preferably with IB PYP training and/or international teaching experience, but not necessary.

Requirements:

Bilingual French and English, or French and other languages . Spanish is an asset.
Bachelor’s Degree or significant experience in a relevant subject specialization. College, CEGEP or other non-University certificate or diploma from a one or two year program will also be accepted.
OCT or completion of a teacher education program. Experience is an asset.
Minimum of 2-3 years of teaching experience is an asset .
IB World School teaching experience is an asset .
DELF training certification

Knowledge of Défi mathématique and/or Singapore Math Dimensions would be an asset.

Participation in continued professional development
Valid vulnerable sector check
Valid first aid and CPR certificate
Legal working status in Canada
