JOB DETAILS

Workplace information: On site – Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

 

Salary: $18.00 hourly for 30 to 40 hours per week

 

Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time

 

Employment conditions: Day, Evening, Weekend, Morning

 

Work Schedule: Between 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for 5 days a week. Workday dependent on employer’s schedule at work.

 

Start: As soon as possible

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Languages: English

 

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma

 

Experience: Experience an asset

 

Work setting: Work in employer’s/client’s home

 

Specific Tasks/Responsibilities:

·         Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents.

·         Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.

·         Shop for food and household supplies.

·         Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.

·         Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens.

·         Care for pets.

·         Discipline child according to the methods requested by the parents.

·         Instruct child in personal hygiene and social development.

·         Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding child.

·         Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.

·         Organize, activities such as games and outings for child.

·         Prepare and serve nutritious meals.

·         Prepare child for rest periods.

·         Supervise and care for child.

·         Take child to and from school and to appointments.

·         Tend to emotional well-being of child.

·         Help child with homework.

·         Cook.
