– Perform assigned household chores that include but are not limited to floor washing, clothes washing, vacuuming, garbage collection and disposal.
– Ensure that potential hazards are promptly addressed to ensure the safety of the residents and of the coworkers.
– Provide companionship for residents
– Administer personal care to residents (dressing, undressing, aid in ambulation, bathing, personal hygiene, etc)
– Under the direction of the agency supervisor, perform health related duties such as assisting in the administration of medications.
– Plan, prepare serve meals.
– Assist in the maintenance of a positive, safe, healthy, enjoyable atmosphere in which the residents can live in a comfortable surrounding and secure environment.
– Keep supervisor informed of activities and problems.
