Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as Assistant Store Manager or Store Manager is required.

Specific Skills

·         Assist in planning, organizing, and overseeing day-to-day store operations to meet sales and service targets.

·         Track inventory levels, review stock movement reports, and assist in determining merchandise requirements.

·         Communicate with suppliers regarding deliveries, product availability, and resolving order discrepancies.

·         Assist in preparing order forecasts based on sales trends, seasonal demand, and store inventory needs.

·         Support the planning and monitoring of store budgets, operating expenses, and cost-control measures.

·         Review daily, weekly, and monthly sales data to identify trends and recommend adjustments to product assortment.

·         Ensure accurate pricing, signage, and execution of promotional programs.

·         Oversee cash handling processes, including float preparation, safe drops, and register reconciliation.

·         Verify daily sales reports and assist with preparing bank deposits and financial documentation.

·         Monitor store operations to reduce shrinkage, enforce loss-prevention procedures, and maintain security standards.

·         Ensure compliance with all regulations related to tobacco, lottery, age-restricted products, and workplace safety.

·         Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure staff follow health and safety protocols.

·         Maintain accurate records related to inventory, incidents, inspections, and operational logs.

·         Execute merchandising changes, promotional displays, and seasonal layouts as directed.

·         Act as Manager-on-Duty in the absence of the Store Manager and make operational decisions as required.
