Job Duties:
Design and install vertical green walls and green roofs using tropical plant species
Plan the incorporation of landscape structures in indoor environments
Trim trees and plants according to pruning objectives (crown cleaning, thinning, raising, vista pruning, etc.)
Prepare conceptual designs and project proposals
Survey and assess project sites to determine appropriate design and plant selection
Read blueprints and interpret work instructions to guide installation and maintenance
Apply fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, pesticides, and other plant care products
Water and maintain plants, lawns, and/or gardens within the scope of interior installations
Manage and supervise landscaping projects from concept to completion
Write specifications and prepare contracts, tenders, and cost estimates
Plan and coordinate the growth and use of plants for decorative and functional purposes
Install and maintain irrigation systems for green walls
Lead a team of 3–5 staff, providing training, direction, and quality control
Ensure timely project execution and high standards of workmanship
Working Conditions:
· Work in wet, damp, strong odours, dust, cold environments, outdoors, noisy.
· Heavy workloads, stand, bend, crouch, and kneel.
· Repetitive task.
· Job is physically demanding, ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
