Job details:

Salary: $37.00/hour for 30 – 40 hours/week

Job requirements

Languages: English

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Carpenter is required.

Tasks

·        Read and interpret drawings to determine specifications for work.

·        Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood or wood-based products as per project requirements.

·        Consult with site supervisors or clients regarding specific needs, layouts, and designs.

·        Install and fit hardware such as handles, locks, hinges, etc.

·        Ensure timely completion of carpentry work as per project schedules.

·        Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and specifications.

·        Operate electrical and manual tools such as saws, drills, hammers, and chisels.

·         Install plywood, trims, moldings, and laminates during the finishing phase of construction.

·         Use nails, screws, adhesives, and fasteners to join materials
