Job description: Child caregiver-private home

Care of 2 children in employer’s home

Language: English

Job Duties:

·         Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents

·         Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents

·         Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development

·         Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home

·         Organize, activities such as games and outings for children

·         Prepare and serve nutritious meals

·         Supervise and care for children

·         Tend to emotional well-being of children

·         Help children with homework

Specific Skills: Reading text; Communications; Problem solving; decision making; Job task planning and organizing

Terms of employment: Permanent; Full-time; Day/Evening

Wages: $20.00 per hour for 32 hours a week

Education required: Completion of high school or equivalent

Work Experience: 1 to less than 7 months

Post-secondary students/youth, newcomers to Canada and seniors welcome to apply.

Start: As soon as possible
