Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: Minimum 1-year experience as a Warehouse Supervisor is required

Job details:

Salary: $ 37.00 per hour for 30 to 40 hours per week

Tasks

·         Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff engaged in receiving, storing, assembling, and distributing lumber, drywall, cement, hardware, and other building materials.

·         Establish daily and weekly work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor staff performance to ensure accuracy and efficiency in handling customer and contractor orders.

·         Train and guide staff in safe material handling practices, forklift operations, and compliance with occupational health and safety standards.

·         Maintain accurate inventory records by overseeing stock counts, reconciling discrepancies, and ensuring proper rotation of building supplies.

·         Monitor and inspect loading/unloading of trucks to ensure timely delivery, minimize damages, and verify orders against shipping documents.

·         Coordinate with purchasing and logistics teams to maintain adequate stock levels and resolve delivery or stock-related issues.

·         Ensure safe storage practices for heavy and hazardous building products while maintaining a clean and organized warehouse.

·         Prepare reports on inventory, damaged goods, staff performance, and recommend workflow or efficiency improvements.
