Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Minimum one year experience in the food service industry is required.
Job details:
Salary: $ 20.15 hourly for 30 to 40 hours per week
Tasks
· Supervise, coordinate, and direct the daily work of food counter attendants, kitchen helpers, and cashiers.
· Prepare staff work schedules, manage shift assignments, and ensure adequate staffing levels during all operating hours.
· Train new employees in job duties, food preparation procedures, sanitation standards, occupational health and safety, and customer service policies.
· Monitor staff performance and provide ongoing supervision, coaching, and corrective action as required.
· Ensure food quality, portion control, presentation, and service standards are always maintained.
· Enforce compliance with public health regulations, food safety standards, and workplace safety requirements.
· Respond to and resolve customer complaints, service issues, and operational concerns in a timely and professional manner.
· Maintain inventory records, conduct stock checks, place supply orders, and minimize food waste and spoilage.
· Monitor labour and food costs to ensure efficient use of resources and compliance with budget targets.
· Maintain daily operational records including sales reports, staff attendance, inventory usage, and incident logs.
· Assist in food preparation, order assembly, and customer service during peak business periods.
· Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of kitchen equipment, food preparation areas, storage areas, and customer areas.
· Support management in implementing company policies, procedures, promotions, and operational improvements.
