We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Mechanic Helper to assist our team with daily shop duties, basic vehicle maintenance and detailing tasks.

Job duties:

·        Assist mechanic with vehicle diagnostics, repairs and maintenance

·        Help lift, hold and position heavy vehicle parts and equipment

·        Perform basic maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements and fluid checks under supervision

·        Support detailing operations including washing, vacuuming, upholstery cleaning and polishing

·        Clean and maintain tools, equipment and work areas

·        Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop

·        Move, park and position costumer and shop vehicles

·        Organize shop supplies and assist with inventory

·        Follow all health and safety protocols including workplace hazard procedures

·        Move tools, equipment and other materials to and from work areas

·        Perform additional labour and elemental tasks to support daily shop operations

Employment requirements:

·        Completion of secondary school education.

·        Experience in automotive repair and detailing is an asset.

·        Physical ability to repetitive tasks, work under pressure, handle heavy loads and lift 25-50lbs
