Kamloops Phone Depot Ltd. located at 1210 Summit Dr, Unit 902, Kamloops BC V2C 6M1 is hiring Cell Phone Repair Technician for a full-time and permanent position.

 

Job Details:

Salary: $38.00/ hour for 30- 40 hours/ week

Vacancies: 2

Job Requirements:

 

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: Minimum one year experience as a Cell Phone Repair Technician is required

 

Specific Skills:

·         Diagnose, inspect, and troubleshoot cellular phones and other mobile telecommunications devices to identify hardware and software faults and perform necessary repairs.

·         Repair and replace damaged components, including screens, batteries, charging ports, speakers, cameras, microphones, buttons, and other defective electronic parts.

·         Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and verify the performance of repaired mobile telecommunications equipment using specialized diagnostic tools and equipment to ensure proper functionality.

·         Install, configure, update, and test mobile device operating systems, firmware, software, and applications.

·         Use specialized hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and precision instruments to perform mobile device repairs and maintenance.

·         Perform component-level repairs on mobile device circuit boards and motherboards, including precision micro-soldering and replacement of defective electronic components when required.

·         Provide customers with information regarding repair options, maintenance, and proper care of mobile devices.

·         Maintain accurate records of repairs performed, replacement parts used, testing results, and service details.

·         Order, receive, and maintain inventory of repair parts, tools, and accessories as required.

·         Clean, maintain, and calibrate repair equipment and keep workstations safe, organized, and compliant with workplace standards.

·         Assist in identifying recurring technical issues and recommend appropriate repair solutions and preventive maintenance measures.
