Job Description:

Tiger Taekwondo is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and direct the strategic and operational activities of the organization. The successful candidate will manage business operations across four taekwondo academy locations, support organizational growth, and ensure operational efficiency through effective leadership and resource management.

Job Duties:

• Plan, organize, direct and evaluate the overall operations of the organization.
• Develop and implement corporate policies, operational procedures and strategic business objectives.
• Oversee and coordinate business operations across four taekwondo academy locations.
• Establish organizational goals and monitor performance to ensure operational effectiveness and profitability.
• Allocate financial, human and material resources to support business growth and operational requirements.
• Direct budgeting, financial planning, forecasting and cost-control initiatives.
• Authorize and coordinate major operational projects, expenditures and business initiatives.
• Lead the recruitment, training, supervision and performance evaluation of management and administrative personnel.
• Analyze operational and financial reports and implement improvements to enhance organizational performance.
• Develop and execute business development, marketing and expansion strategies.
• Negotiate and maintain relationships with suppliers, contractors, landlords and business partners.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, employment standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Represent the organization in business negotiations, strategic planning and partnership development activities.

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
Wage: $65.92 for 30 hours per week
Benefit: Vacation Pay 4%

Qualifications/Skill Requirements:

Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Commerce, Education, Physical Education or a related field is required.

Experience
• Minimum five (5) years of progressive experience in operations management, business management or senior leadership positions.
• Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, budgeting, resource allocation, staff supervision and organizational management.
• Experience overseeing multi-location business operations is required.

Skills
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple business operations and priorities simultaneously.

Language
• Ability to communicate in English (speak, read, and write English)
