Kanatani Trading Ltd. operating as Windbell Motorcycle proudly serves all Japanese motorcycles and scooters in North Vancouver BC. We’re providing repairs, motorcycle parts, and pre-owned motorcycle to our customers more than 22 years.
We are looking for a full time Motorcycle mechanic to join our team at Windbell Motorcycle.
Job Duties:
· Review work orders and discuss repair and maintenance requirements with the Service Manager.
· Inspect, diagnose, and test engines, transmissions, and other mechanical and electrical systems using appropriate testing equipment to identify faults and determine required repairs.
· Adjust, repair, replace, and reinstall defective mechanical or electrical components using hand and power tools.
· Perform routine maintenance services, including inspections, lubrication, adjustments, and replacement of worn parts according to manufacturer specifications.
· Install and remove motorcycle components and accurately document inspection findings, diagnostic results, repairs performed, and maintenance records.
· Explain repairs performed and advise customers on vehicle condition, maintenance requirements, and recommended services.
· Assist in preparing estimates for repair and maintenance costs, including parts and labour requirements.
· Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and comply with workplace health and safety procedures.
· Perform related mechanical repair and maintenance duties as required within the scope of the position.
Requirements:
· Certificate or diploma of motorcycle mechanics training
· Minimum five years of Motor Vehicle or Motorcycle mechanic work experience
· Trade Certificate is required
· Valid Motorcycle Driver License
· Problem-solving skills with positive professional attitude
· Proven ability as a team player
Wage, Working Hours, Benefit
· Wage: $38.50/hour
· Hour: 30.00hrs/week
· Permanent and Full-time position
