(also known as Mosaic Systems Consulting Canada) provides consulting services to translate conceptual business needs into detailed functional specifications, optimize and enhance business processes, test configurations, educate end-users and spreadhead organizational adaptation initiatives. We are currently looking for a Business Systems Consultant.

Job Title: Business Systems Consultant

Location: 218-505 Highway 7 East, Markham ON, Canada L3T 7T1

Wage: $43.50 per hour

Hours: 30 hours per week

Term: Full-time, Permanent

Language: English

Vacation: 4% Vacation pay (or 10 days) per year

 

Responsibilities:

–          Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure all project aspects align with organizational goals and objectives

–          Recommend system solutions that address business problems, which may include customizing existing systems, integrating new software, or developing custom tools

–          Manage projects from inception through completion, delivering on time and on budget by creating project plans, coordinating teams, monitoring progress, and making adjustments as needed

–          Identify opportunities to streamline technology and improve efficiency

–          Oversee testing of customized systems and modifications to ensure they meet requirements and function as intended

–          Provide training and support to end-users to facilitate smooth adoption and effective use of new technologies

–          Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, processes, plans, and changes to support future maintenance and refinement

Requirements:

–          A university degree preferably in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Systems Analysis or equivalent or completion of a college program in Computer Science

–          Experience as a Business Systems Consultant or a technical role with experience in system implementation

Preferred qualifications and skills:

–          Competency in Java, Spring framework, Thymeleaf, JQuery

–          Ability to lead and manage projects from requirements definition to plans implementation

–          Ability to think critically about issues, evaluate problems and question assumptions

–          Ability to self-organize and plan work and manage time effectively

–          A technical aptitude and curiosity in Information Technology
