JOB DETAILS

Workplace information: On site – Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

 

Salary: $35.40 hourly for 30 hours per week

 

Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time

 

Employment conditions: Day, Weekend, Early Morning, Morning

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Languages: English

 

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience

 

Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years

 

Work setting: Construction company

 

Specific Tasks/Responsibilities:

·         Implement new administrative procedures.

·         Review and evaluate new administrative procedures.

·         Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met.

·         Carry out administrative activities of establishment.

·         Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation.

·         Co-ordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security services.

·         Assist in the preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.

·         Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence.

·         Perform data entry.

·         Resolve conflict situations.

·         Monitor and evaluate.

·         Oversee payroll administration.

·         Plan and control budget and expenditures.

·         Assist in project estimates, change order estimates, and project closeout reviews.

·         Provide administrative support to capital projects, including managing project folders, maintenance requests, contractor estimates, and scopes of work.

·         Utilize advanced Excel skills to manage data, track progress, and generate reports.

·         Assist with the preparation and tracking of payment requests, invoices, and estimates.

·         Adapt to evolving responsibilities, remaining flexible and open to new duties as the role expands over time.

·         Communicate with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure project objectives are met.
