The Nail Place in Sherwood Park AB is looking for 1 advertising specialist to be part of our growing team.
Job duties:
· Developing and implementing advertising and marketing strategies.
· Undertaking competitor research and analyses.
· Conducting market research to establish customer trends and habits.
· Establishing goals and objectives in order to reach our customers through appropriate marketing channels (digital and traditional).
· Building and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers through prospecting and networking.
· Promoting brand awareness through advertising efforts.
· Creating marketing materials for our website and other marketing platforms.
· Supporting the team with marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas, including optimization, advertising, social media, direct marketing, and event planning.
· Assisting with the analyses of marketing data, including campaign results, conversion rates, and online traffic in order to improve future marketing strategies and campaigns.
· Performing other duties when needed.
Qualification and Skills:
· Post secondary education in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business or related field
· Proven experience as advertising specialist or similar role for at least 1 year
· Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/Social media etc.) and market research methods
· Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools
· Solid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite & CRM) and applications (Web analytics, Google Adwords etc.)
· Knowledge of HTML, CSS and web development tools (e.g. Dreamweaver) preferred
· Well-organized and detail oriented
· Exceptional communication and writing skills
· Commercial awareness partnered with a creative mind
