A.V.A Poultry Ltd. is looking for a Meat Cutter.

Job Title: Meat Cutter

Work location: 1021-11111 Twigg Pl, Richmond BC, Canada V6V 0B7

Benefits: Dental and extended health

Vacation: 4% vacation pay (or 10 days) per year

Wage: $25 per hour

Work hours: 40 hours per week

Terms of employment: Full-time, permanent

Summary of Responsibilities:

Remove excess skin, fat, and bones from poultry and meat

Examine poultry and meat for defects, bruises, or blemishes, and discard as necessary

Cut and portion poultry and meat for commercial use

Operate meat grinding equipment

Weigh and package processed meat and poultry items

Perform end-of-day sanitation and clean-up procedures

Requirements:

Completion of secondary school

Minimum of one year of meat cutting experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting
