Program Development & Implementation:
Design and implement engaging child-care programs that promote overall development.
Lead activities such as storytelling, music, dramatic play, and creative arts to enhance learning.
Take children on local outings to explore their surroundings and enrich their experiences.
Child Development & Well-being:
Ensure a safe, secure, and healthy environment for children.
Guide children in developing healthy eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
Observe children for learning, emotional, or behavioral challenges and prepare reports for parents or supervisors.
Assess children’s abilities, interests, and needs, maintaining open communication with parents and colleagues.
Collaboration & Supervision:
Establish and maintain positive relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children.
Work closely with parents to provide updates and discuss their child’s progress.
Plan and organize before and after school programs for school-age children (if applicable).
May supervise and coordinate the activities of other early childhood educators and assistants.
Qualifications & Skills
Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate/Diploma or equivalent qualification.
Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting.
Strong knowledge of child development theories and best practices.
Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
Ability to create a stimulating, inclusive, and nurturing environment.
First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
