Responsibilities / Tasks
– Diagnose diseases and physiological disorders
– Prescribe medication and treatment
– Refer patients for surgery
– Treat diseases and physiological disorders
– Study the nature, cause and development of diseases and the structural and functional changes caused by diseases
– Act as consultants to other physicians
– Order laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures
– Diagnose and provide non-surgical treatment of diseases and injuries of internal organ systems. Provide care mainly for adults who have wide range of problems associated with the internal organs

– Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities

Specialization in clinical medicine
