Tasks
– Prescribe post-operation medication and treatment
– Treat diseases and injuries
– Study the nature, cause and development of diseases and the structural and functional changes caused by diseases
– Act as consultants to other physicians
– Order laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures
– Diagnose, treat, and help prevent benign and malignant medical and surgical disorders of the genitourinary system and the renal glands.
– Conduct office-based consultations and assessments for patients with urological problems
– Managing chronic and acute urological issues, including urinary tract disorders, prostate health, and bladder issues
– Perform minor in-office procedures such as circumcisions and vasectomies, as well as cystoscopies and urodynamic testing
– Provide patient education and counselling on preventative care and treatment options
