Job description
Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods in line with cuisine specialty.
Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff and delegate tasks accordingly.
Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
Ensure kitchen operations align with health and safety standards.
Train kitchen staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
Monitor food preparation methods, portion sizes, and garnishing.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen areas.
Assist in menu planning and recipe development with a focus on innovation and tradition.
Requirements
Completion of secondary school is required.
Completion of a college program in culinary arts or equivalent experience in commercial cooking.
2-3 years of experience as a cook or chef specializing in Indian cuisine.
Work Conditions

Hours:30- 40 hrs/week
