Hotel Executive Housekeeper

JOB DETAILS

Salary: $20.00 to $23.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 40 hours per week

 

Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time

 

Employment conditions: Day, Weekend, Overtime, On Call, Flexible Hours

 

Start date: Starts as soon as possible

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Languages: English

 

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience as a cleaning supervisor.

 

Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

 

Work setting: 50 – 100 rooms, Hotel, motel, resort

 

Specific Tasks/Responsibilities:

·         Establish and implement operational procedures for housekeeping department

·         Select and purchase equipment and supplies

·         Co-ordinate inspection of assigned areas

·         Supervise staff

·         Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met

·         Supervise maintenance and repair services

·         Co-ordinate maintenance and repair services

·         Conduct performance evaluations and appraisals

·         Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment and uniforms

·         Supervise in-house laundry services

·         Co-ordinate in-house laundry services

·         Schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staff

·         Ensure that local health and sanitation regulations are carried out

·         Respond to complaints of guests

 

Supervision: 5-10 people
