Job Requirements

Languages: English

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in English or Journalism is required

Experience: Minimum 7 months experience as an Editor is required

Job details

Salary: $60,000 annually / 37.5 hours per week

Tasks

·         Develop editorial strategies and plan content calendars.

·         Edit articles and coordinate content production.

·         Ensure content meets editorial standards and approve final layouts.

·         Collaborate with authors, staff writers, reporters, and others to discuss revisions to content

·         Train and supervise editorial teams.

·         Plan and implement layout or format of copy according to space or time allocations and significance of copy

·         Manage editorial budgets and negotiate freelance contracts.

·         Monitor reader feedback and implement engagement strategies.

·         Build industry relationships and collaborate with teams.

·         Stay updated on trends and competitor publications.

·         Oversee website and social media content.

·         Ensure legal and ethical standards in content creation and publication.
