Overview:

Dehaas Landscape Design Ltd., a premier landscaping company dedicated to creating stunning outdoor living spaces, is seeking a motivated and experienced Landscaping Supervisor. The ideal candidate will be reliable, knowledgeable, and skilled in managing landscaping projects and teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers maintaining lawns, gardens, interior platescapes, and other landscaped areas.
Organize the planting and maintenance of trees, gardens, lawns, shrubs, and hedges, as well as the construction and installation of fences, decks, patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
Establish work schedules and procedures and coordinate activities with other work units.
Resolve work-related problems and prepare and submit progress and other reports.
Requisition supplies and materials.
Maintain financial and personnel records.
Train workers in job duties and company policies.
Perform mowing, edging, and shaping of shrubs and hedges.
Ensure quality control of gardens and grounds.
May provide snow removal services during winter months.
May perform the same duties as workers supervised.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a landscaping supervisor or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of landscaping techniques, materials, and tools.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Ability to plan, estimate, and manage projects efficiently.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
Valid driver’s license.
Working Conditions:

Work in wet, damp, strong odours, dust, cold environments, outdoors, noisy.
Heavy workloads, stand, bend, crouch, and kneel.
Repetitive task.
Job is physically demanding, ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
