Job Description: Personal Support Worker – Nursing Care

Job Duties: Administer bedside and personal care to clients Assist clients with bathing, personal hygiene, and dressing and undressing; Feed or assist in feeding clients; Make beds and maintain patients’ rooms; Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities

Specific Skills: Reading text; Writing; Communication; Problem solving; Decision making; Job task planning and organizing

Terms of employment: Permanent; Full-time; Day/Evening

Wages: $23.00 per hour for 40 hours a week

Education required: Secondary school education and on-the-job training

Work experience: 1 – 2 years

Courses Required: Completion of specialized courses such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid
Post-secondary students/youth, newcomers to Canada and seniors welcome to apply.
