Salary: $35.00/ hour for 30 to 40 hours per week

Job requirements

Languages: English

Education: Completion of a two- to three-year college/university program in architectural technology or a related subject is required.

Experience: Minimum of one year experience as an Architectural Technician or Architect is required

Specific Skills

assist in the design and execution of all stages of building projects
work both independently and as a member of a team to develop proficiency in all areas of design development from preliminary concept plans through to completion of Development and Building Permit submission packages
prepare CAD (computer-aided design) drawings, specifications, and listing of quantities of material from conceptual drawings and instructions
utilize building codes, bylaws, site and space requirements, and other technical documents and reports
ensure designs and drawings meet relevant building code and bylaw standards
coordinate among all parties including clients, consultants, Authorities, and colleagues
participate in professional development activities as provided by our firm
