Frobisher International Enterprises has been proud to be supplying Canada with quality seafood products for more than 40 years. We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in our processing plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklift to load, unload and receive items from designated areas in the facility
- Transport goods to different locations as directed by supervisor
- Ensure items are safely placed on partial pallets before transportation
- Estimate the weight of materials and goods
- Identify forklift damage and perform repairs, labeling and/or wraps when necessary
- Operate inventory control systems to ensure work accuracy
- Stack empty pallets
- Strictly follow safety standards at the workplace
- Report work performed to supervisor
Key Qualifications:
- A forklift operator certification is required.
- Minimum 6 months experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Experience in the supply chain is an asset.
