Position Overview
The Marketing Specialist will be integral to enhancing Gateway College’s brand presence and enrollment success. This role involves planning and executing marketing initiatives across multiple channels, analyzing effectiveness, and driving innovative strategies to engage domestic and international markets.
Major Responsibilities:
· Develop, implement, and manage multi-channel marketing strategies (traditional media, events, social media, and email marketing)
· Identify emerging market opportunities and propose targeted marketing plans to reach diverse audiences
· Craft, proofread, and refine marketing copy for a cohesive and compelling brand voice across channels
· Gather testimonials and produce engaging content that resonates with students and prospects
· Organize and coordinate promotional events, ensuring alignment with the college’s branding and outreach goals
· Liaise with vendors to ensure quality and timely execution of marketing deliverables
· Monitor marketing initiatives’ effectiveness through data analysis, adjusting strategies for optimal performance
· Present campaign outcomes, ideas, and future strategies to internal teams and senior management
· Implement innovative tactics to boost the college’s reputation, increase enrollment, and position Gateway College as a premier educational institution
Qualifications:
· A Diploma or higher in marketing, business, communications, or a related field
· Minimum of 2 years of relevant marketing experience
· Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas persuasively
· Excellent organizational and project management skills to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously
· Experience in managing partnerships and external vendors effectively
Wage: CAD 34.75/Hour
Work Hours: 30-40 Hours per Week
