Job Description: Operating Room Aide

Job Duties: Assist with cleaning, sterilizing, setting up and assembling of medical equipment; Take patients’ blood pressure, temperature and pulse; Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort; Administer first aid in emergency situations; Perform other procedures as directed by nursing and clinic staff; Carry messages, reports, requisitions between departments; Make beds and maintain operating room; Maintain inventory of supplies

Terms of employment: Permanent; Full-time; Day/Evening

Wages: $23.00 per hour for 30 hours a week

Education: Completion of a college, CGEP or other non-university program of 1 to 2 years

Certification: First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate; Nursing Aide Certificate

Language: English

Work experience: 1 – 2 years

Start: As soon as possible
