Responsibilities

  1. Prepare production and other reports
  2. Recommend measures to improve productivity
  3. Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  4. Supervise workers and projects
  5. Co-ordinate and schedule activities
  6. Train or arrange for training
  7. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
  8. Recommend personnel actions
  9. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
  10. Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other work unit

Supervision: 5-10 people

  • Motor vehicle body repairers
  • Automotive technicians/motor vehicle mechanics
  • Apprentices
