Job Description
· Develop, test, and implement innovative menus that maintain consistent quality, portion standards, and visual appeal.
· Coordinate daily kitchen activities to ensure efficiency, productivity, and adherence to established recipes, schedules, and standards.
· Direct and oversee all aspects of food preparation, production, and presentation.
· Forecast and plan food, labour, and operating costs; monitor expenses to ensure budgetary control and profitability.
· Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and occupational health regulations; maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
· Promote teamwork, professionalism, and a positive work culture within the culinary team to support excellence in service delivery.
Skills and Qualifications:
Secondary education is a must
5-7 years of chef/sour chef experience is required
Any post secondary education including Cook’s trade certification will be an asset
Work Conditions
Weekdays, Weekends and Evening shifts
Full time & Permanent
Hours:30- 40 hrs/week
Wage: $36.60/hour
