Job Details:

Salary: $21.30/ hour for 30-40 hours/ week

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma

Experience: Experience is an asset

Tasks:

Feed and water laying hens and monitor flock health daily.
Collect, sort, and pack eggs manually or using automated equipment.
Inspect eggs for quality, cracks, or deformities before packaging.
Clean and disinfect barns, cages, nesting boxes, and equipment to ensure sanitary conditions.
Follow strict biosecurity measures to prevent disease transmission.
Maintain and operate feeding, watering, lighting, and ventilation systems.
Assist with handling and disposal of manure and waste.
Record daily egg production, feed consumption, and flock health issues.
Assist with general farm maintenance, seasonal work, and equipment operation.
Report health concerns or production problems to supervisors promptly.
