Position: Automotive repair and service shop supervisor

Number of Positions: 1

Duration: Full time, Permanent

Education requirement: Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate

Experience requirement: minimum 1 year experience required as an Automotive repair and service shop supervisor

Language: English

Start Date: As soon as possible

Wage: $41.00/hour, 30 to 35 hours/week.

Job Duties:

·       Evaluate and direct the daily operations of the lube shop to ensure efficient service delivery, safety compliance and customer satisfaction

·       Supervise, coach, coordinate and schedule activities of Lube technicians and apprentices for repair, oil change and maintenance of vehicles.

·       Provide training to employees and new hires or arrange for external training as required

·       Establish procedures to complete scheduled work.

·       Monitor repair progress, ensuring jobs are completed on time and according to standards.

·       Manage inventory and assist in ordering materials and supplies needed for operation.

·       Maintain compliance with safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.

·       Identify and resolve workplace issues and recommend actions to enhance productivity and quality of work.

·       Evaluate staff performance and recommend appropriate personnel actions, including recruitment and promotions

·       Prepare and maintain service records, parts orders, and inventory documentation.
