Care for 2 children in employer’s home

Note: This is a live-out only position

Language: English

Job Duties: Supervise and care for children; Prepare and serve nutritious meals to children; Help children with homework; Organize activities such as games and outings for children; Prepare craft materials and assist children to use them; Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development; Read to children; Accompany children to medical and/or dental appointments; Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents; Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home

Specific Skills: Reading text; Communication; Problem solving; Decision making; Job task planning and organizing

Terms of employment: Permanent; Full-time; Day/Evening

Wages: $20.85 per hour for 30 hours a week

Education required: Completion of high school or equivalent

Work experience: 1 – 2 years
