Job Summary: Kato Electrical Inc. is seeking skilled Electricians to join our rapidly growing team in Vancouver, BC. Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Read, interpret blueprints, maps, and sketches of circuit diagrams and electrical code specifications to devise a plan and to estimate wiring layouts for new or existing installations
• Lay conduits and pipes through holes in walls, floors and other concealed areas
• Install circuit breakers and other electrical hardware to support wiring connections
• Install, replace and repair electrical wiring, systems and fixtures in buildings
• Test electrical systems and components using test equipment to ensure compatibility and safety of system after performing installation, replacement or repair
• Inspect and maintain electrical and electronic systems, and remove and replace faulty compo-nents
• Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical systems and components and ensure to keep maintenance records and documentation of repairs and services.

Wage/Salary: $36.00/hour, with the ability to earn up to $6.00/hour in performance and safety bonuses

Benefits: Extended Medical and Dental Benefits, available after 90 days; Ability to earn up to $6.00/hour in performance and safety bonuses

Hours Per Week: 40 hours per week

Terms of Employment: Full-Time, Permanent

Location of Work: Reporting to: 1179 Grant St, Vancouver, BC, Canada, V6A 2J7; Will be dispatched to various job sites across the Lower Mainland of BC.

Skills Requirements

Education: Must possess at least a one-year post-secondary credential in electrical trades, electrical engineering, power engineering or a related discipline OR Must have completed at least a four-year electrical apprenticeship

Work Experience: At least three years of verifiable work experience as an Electrician

Skills/Licensing: Must be able to read blueprints and electrical diagrams to plan wiring layouts, install and maintain electrical systems, test for safety, and perform regular maintenance; Valid Class 5 Driver’s License is required.
