Lighthouse Shellfish in Union Bay BC is looking for a Sales Manager to be part of our growing team.
Job duties and responsibilities:
· Negotiate and close deals, aiming to meet and exceed sales targets
· Develop and expand the company’s presence in the market
· Analyze system data and troubleshoot customer sales, orders and pricing
· Determine and communicate new selling options to customers
· Liaise with customers and our production team
· Order management while assisting logistics to ensure that product arrives to customers
· Actively seek new business opportunities.
· Leverage existing contacts and develop new relationships to expand market reach
· Track key trends within the distributor & chain restaurant business
· Understand and keep up-to-date with industry trends, market activities, and competitors
Qualification and Skills:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field
· At least 5 years combined experience as a Sales Representative and Sales Manager, with specific experience selling seafood and/or products with delicate shelf life
· Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in dynamic situations
· Strength in analyzing data and process flows
· Exceptional sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of hunting and securing new business
· Ability to operate on a national scale, with multi-channel sales experience.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills
