We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Window Treatment Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various construction techniques and a strong ability to work with hand tools. This role involves installing window treatments with cord/cordless/motorized systems, ensuring they are fitted correctly and meet the aesthetic and functional needs of our clients. The installer will work closely with customers to provide exceptional service and ensure satisfaction with the final product.

Responsibilities
Safely remove existing blinds, brackets, and related hardware using both hand and power tools.
Prepare, repair, and reinforce wall, ceiling, or window frame surfaces (e.g., filling, sanding, leveling) to ensure proper load-bearing capacity before installation.
Accurately measure and align installation areas using precision tools (laser levels, digital measuring devices) to achieve exact fit and functionality.
Assemble and install manual and motorized blinds, including specialized components such as motors, rails, shafts, guiding systems, and mounting hardware.
Adjust and calibrate mechanical and electrical/electronic components for precise positioning, smooth operation, and long-term durability.
Integrate and test motorized systems with remote controls, smart home devices, or wall-mounted panels, ensuring full system compatibility.
Conduct quality inspections on completed installations, verifying proper alignment, safety compliance (e.g., CSA electrical standards), and adherence to company specifications.
Provide client guidance on operating procedures, safety precautions, and maintenance practices.
Maintain tools and electronic equipment in optimal working condition, document installation records, and follow all workplace health and safety regulations (OHSA).
Assist project managers in coordinating installation timelines, resolving on-site technical issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience in construction, carpentry, window covering installation, or a related trade.
Proficiency in safely using hand tools and power tools for installation and repair tasks.
Ability to read and follow installation manuals, blueprints, or technical drawings accurately.
Knowledge of caulking, sealing, and basic restoration practices is an asset.
Familiarity with installation of blinds, shades, shutters, or similar products; experience with flooring or tile installation is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to precise measurement and high-quality workmanship.
Good communication skills for interacting with clients, supervisors, and team members.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team, including at client homes, commercial sites, or showroom environments.
Join us in creating beautiful spaces through expertly installed window treatments while showcasing your skills in construction!
