Responsibilities
Task
– Hire, supervise and schedule staff
– Plan and direct grounds maintenance
– Plan and estimate labour and materials
– Organize and direct construction of decks and decorative or retaining walls
– Plan, manage and supervise landscape construction work
– Maintain work records and logs
– Tender and administer contracts
– Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
– Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
– Establish work schedules and procedures
