JOB DESCRIPTION
The Digital Marketing Specialist at Maple & Crest (2330703 ALBERTA LTD.), a distributor of electrical supplies and electrical components, will be primarily responsible for the day-to-day activities involving market outreach. This position will produce promotional materials for both online and offline use to engage with existing clients and attract new ones.

JOB DUTIES
The duties of the Digital Marketing Specialist at Maple & Crest (2330703 ALBERTA LTD.) will include but are not limited to:
· Assess the characteristics of our electrical supplies, components, and equipment to determine marketing and advertising strategies that align with both local and international market demands.
· Advise senior management and clients on opportunities for advertising, sales promotion, and digital marketing strategies tailored to the electrical supply industry.
· Develop and implement direct and digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media promotions, and targeted advertising.
· Manage post-campaign analysis to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts. Report on key metrics and provide insights to optimize future campaigns.
· Manage and grow the company’s social media accounts. Monitor customer feedback, reviews, and testimonials across platforms. Create engaging content that highlights our industry expertise, product quality, and successful partnerships.
· Develop and implement public relations programs to increase brand visibility and trust. Craft and distribute press releases and company updates to both international and local media outlets. Manage media relations and organize press conferences as needed to promote new product launches and strategic initiatives.
· Conduct market research, surveys, and interviews to gather insights into customer needs and preferences, especially in key international markets. Analyze competitors and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
· Prepare internal communications, newsletters, and reports to inform employees and stakeholders about ongoing marketing efforts, product launches, and market expansion activities.
· Organize and promote events such as trade shows, product demonstrations, and industry conferences in both domestic and international markets. Ensure the company’s presence at key industry events aligns with overall marketing goals and strengthens relationships with customers and suppliers.
· Arrange interviews, news conferences and other media events.
· Serve as a company spokesperson for interviews, press conferences, and media events. Answer inquiries from media outlets and ensure consistent and accurate messaging about the company’s mission, values, and product offerings.
· Coordinate special publicity events and promotions for internal and external audiences.
· Assist in the preparation of brochures, sales kits, product catalogs, reports, and other marketing collateral to support both the export and import sides of the business.
· Represent and function as an agent for talented individuals or individuals with specific occupational expertise.
· Prepare or oversee preparation contracts related to marketing.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in business marketing, public relations, communications, is required.
· One to less than two years of experience in a position related to digital marketing is required.
