Mauve Hair & Beauty Ltd. offers hair styling and hair dressing services by experienced professional hairstylists and high-quality customer service in a relaxing atmosphere.  We have 2 locations in BC.  The main branch in Richmond was established in 2013, and Burnaby branch was established in 2022.

As business is expanding, Burnaby branch is operating 6 days per week from 10am -6pm.  For more smooth operation management and continual growth, we need to hire one full time Salon Manager for Burnaby branch.

Responsibilities

·         Oversee daily salon operations and appointment scheduling

·         Promote services, products and discounts on social media

·         Hire and train hairstylists and beauticians as needed

·         Keep stock record and order hair & beauty products

·         Set up and maintain staff records, including salaries and working schedules

·         Receive payments from clients and track all transactions

·         Keep updated records of costs and revenues

·         Handle customer inquiries and complaints

·         Enforce hygiene practices and control tidiness of the premises

Qualification

·         College diploma or vocational certificate in hair and beauty major

·         Min. 3 years work experience in commercial hair salon

·         Knowledge of various hair styles, hair care products and related procedures

·         Great organizational and management skills

·         Ability to work under pressure

Salary, working hours

·         Wage: $34.75/hour

·         Working Hours: 30 hours/week

·         Term: Permanent and Full Time

·         Benefit: Extended Medical Group Insurance include dental after 3months of employment
