Companion in Private Household F/T required to take care of Elderly aged person

Title of position: Companion (for 1 Elderly aged person)

Salary $ 23.00/hr. (35-40hrs/week)

Job requirements: –
Languages:
English (Punjabi language is an asset)

Education:
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or completion of a training program is required.

Experience:
Relevant experience for 7 months to 1 year.

Work Site Environment:
Non-smoking

Work Location Information:
Work in employer’s/client’s home

Personal Suitability:
Punctuality, Flexibility, Organized, Reliability

Job duties:
• Providing timely nutritious meals
• Administer bedside and personal care
• Take care of general hygiene
• Assist in daily chores and provide medication as per requirements
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Accompany to walk in the morning

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Repetitive tasks.
