Terms of Employment:  Permanent Position / Full-Time / Shift

Wage: $24 – $40 (Depends on Experience)

Benefit: 4% Vacation Pay, Tip

Job duties:

1.      Estimate amount and costs of supplies and food items

2.      Demonstrate new cooking techniques and new equipment to cooking staff

3.      Create new recipes

4.      Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food

5.      Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff

6.      Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods

7.      Requisition food and kitchen supplies

8.      Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards

9.      Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances

Job Requirement:

1.      High School Degree

2.      Cook’s trade certification or equivalent credentials, training and experience

3.      Minimum 2 Years of commercial cooking experience
