Responsibilities

Tasks

Design and develop power equipment and systems

Install equipment

Interpret blueprints or other instructions to plan methods or sequences of operation

Read blueprints or other instructions to determine work requirements

Test power equipment and systems

Assist in inspecting, testing and adjusting electronic components

Calibrate electronic equipment and instruments

Assist in building and testing prototypes to specifications

Conduct or supervise the installation, commissioning, and operation of electrical andelectronic equipment and systems

Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test and analyzethe performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies and systems

Complete work orders, test and maintenance reports
