Packaging Depot, Delta BC. is looking for 2 positions of Package Handler – on a permanent and full-time basis.
Salary: CAD 19/Hr /30to 40 hours per week
The main job duties and responsibilities:
- Receiving, scanning, sorting, and stocking packages and mails.
- Maintain address databases by updating names and locations
- Print and photocopy material
- Produce customized labels for letters, parcels and other packages
- Stuff and seal envelopes, by hand or by machine
- Address customers’ complaints or concerns
- Operate and maintain print shop and mailing house equipment
- Answer inquiries and complete forms regarding change of address, theft or loss of mail
- Bundle, label, bag and route mail into the proper delivery stream
- Calculate and affix correct postage on letters, parcels, and registered mail
- Process incoming and outgoing mail manually or electronically
- Receive payments from customers
- Record and balance daily transactions
- Record special delivery and registered mail
- Search directories to find correct address for redirected mail
Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Basics English language; oral Punjabi and Hindi language is assets but not mandatory.
Experience
- Specialized education is not required.
No experience necessary.
