Description:- At Pineland Metal Products Inc, we are looking for a fulltime permanent Metal Roofer. Must be able to work morning, day. On the Job Training will be provided. May need to work independently. Holding Valid Driver License will be an asset
Job Duties:
Install single-ply roofing system using waterproof sheet materials, such as modified plastics, elastomeric or other asphaltic compositions
Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
Repair roofing systems. Instruct apprentices. Supervise other workers
Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools
Install sheet metal flashings. Erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms.
Measure roof surfaces and calculate material requirements
Install metal roofing panels, sheets, flashing, and trims
Cut, shape, and fasten metal using hand and power tools
Secure insulation, underlayment, and waterproof membranes
Fabricating metal shapes and parts by hand as well as with various mechanical bending equipments
Repair or replace damaged metal roofing sections
Ensure proper alignment, sealing, and drainage systems
Follow safety procedures while working at heights. Read and interpret blueprints and installation instructions.
Maintain tools and keep work areas clean.
