Job Details

Tasks:

·       Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food.

·       Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.

·       Establish work schedules and procedures.

·       Supervise and check assembly of trays.

·       Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.

·       Requisition food and kitchen supplies.

·       Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures.

·       Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.

·       Address customers’ complaint or concerns.

Skills Requirements

Education: Completion of secondary school (or equivalent) is required with certification on basic safe food handling training (AB/SK).

Work Experience: 7 months or more experience in the Food Service Industry.  Must have knowledge of the establishment’s culinary genres.
