Our services include new house construction and full restoration for residential. We are looking for a full time Floor Covering Installer to join us.
Job duties
Install various types of flooring materials, including carpet, hardwood, laminate, vinyl, and tile
Estimate materials, measure and mark layout lines on surfaces, install materials according to blueprints and specifications, understand pattern layout
Use appropriate tools and equipment to measure, cut, and install flooring materials accurately and efficiently
Ensure proper alignment and spacing of flooring materials for a professional finish
Trim and finish edges of flooring materials as needed
Safely use hand and power tools, adhesives & fastening systems
Evaluate and remediate substrate imperfection
Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and customer satisfaction
Requirements:
Completion of secondary school is preferred.
Previous experience as a flooring installer or related field is preferred
Knowledge of different types of flooring materials and installation techniques
Attention to detail and ability to maintain a safe, clean and organized work area
Good communication and customer service skills
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to different installation challenges
